Junior Public Relations Account Executive

Description:
Integrate Public Relations holds a unique focus on social media marketing but at its root is a traditional PR agency. Our PR team is in constant touch with the national and local traditional and online business, consumer and trade media, and we are constantly working towards having them reach out to us when working on relevant pieces. We value our media relationships and spend countless hours with journalists to maintain solid relationships. These relationships are translated in the great media mentions we get for our clients.
We are looking for a dedicated team member to work on our traditional PR accounts.
Some of the tasks of the Junior Public Relations Account Executive include:
- Building and maintaining media lists
- Day-to-day client/account relationship assistance
- Editorial calendar and HARO monitoring
- Event assistance
- Press release creation and distribution
- Proactive pitching to local/national media outlets
- Securing and capturing client coverage
Ideal Candidates:
- Client management skills
- Exceptional writer
- 1-2 years work experience
- Understanding of PR writing styles (including AP Style)
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and to provide strategic insight and analysis to solve problems
- Ability to foster teamwork and thrive in a collaborative environment
- Prepared to be flexible and take on additional roles as situations arise
- Passionate about their desire to work in the communication industry in their specified field of interest
- Creative thinkers – able to generate new and innovative ideas that are relevant to our clients

Social Media Intern

The IntegratePR team goes beyond the “expected” and delivers extraordinary work to all of our clients and partners. From pitching proactively and reactively to both local and national media outlets, to helping to marry all client PR initiatives to the social media team’s goals and helping execute creative & strategic online campaigns for our clients, the IntegratePR social media intern is a vital part of the Integrate team.
A Social Media intern at Integrate Public Relations should have experience and be interested in learning more about social media. This role will include gaining practical experience in strategic social media, blog writing and online research, monitoring news and social networks (including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram), finding and communicating with clients’ influencers, seeking opportunities for client partnerships, and managing longer-term corporate projects, attending industry events as part of the Integrate team, running errands for clients, and much more. This is a 10-week, paid internship. Integrate will also give college credit for this position.
Overall:
- Candidates should be able to commit to the time schedule determined for the duration of the program
- Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel strongly desired
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have their own laptop computer
